BRAZILIAN JOURNAL OF SPORTS SCIENCES: DIFFICULTIES, CHALLENGES AND DILEMMAS OF SCIENTIÞ C PUBLISHING

Abstract

This paper presents difÞ culties, challenges and dilemmas of scientiÞ c magazines publishing, taking into account the experience by Brazilian Journal of Sports Sciences (RBCE). It discusses the demands of internationalization of knowledge and of the national magazines — a problem faced by publishers in relation of post-graduation’s demands. The paper suggests that these questions may be problematic for a pedagogical area like Physical Education and show some ambiguities regarding bad academic practices.
