The concept of childhood in the Brazilian physical education: first approaches

Abstract
This paper has the objective of identify the concept of childhood in the academic area of Physical Education in Brazil, through a bibliographic study referenced in the qualitative research method. The data obtained allow us to affirm that the concept of childhood in the Brazilian Physical Education has shown a certain advance, although discreet if compared with other knowledge areas, as the Education.
