Abstract
The objective of this research was to verify the effects of two training programs with multiple horizontal hops (one with ten hops and another with triple and quintuple hops) in 30 m-runs, 30 m-sprints and 120 m-runs. Twenty people of both sexes were divided into two groups and took the running tests before and after the training programs. It was concluded that: 1) the training with multiple horizontal hops improve the abilities of acceleration and maximum speed, but not resistant speed, 2) the choice of the exercises in a program with multiple horizontal hops does not affect its effects.
