Abstract

This research focuses on lifelong learning, taking into account the understandings and experiences of physical education teachers in the context of the Provincial Government of Rio Grande do Sul, in the 2007-2010 management and national and state guidelines that govern it. The study was conducted through literature, documents and interviews with teachers of Physical Education, Public Education in urban and rural areas. The results show that gover- nment policies do not meet the needs and expectations of teachers and are not guaranteed the right to continue the graduate education according to national guidelines and state.
