Abstract
This paper deals with the representations of doping in four important journals during the XXth century in France. Purity, non-purity and secrets are three concepts witch
allow to understand how those system get organized during time. This idea is based on Mary Douglas anthropological work concerning pollution, purity and non-purity. But the concept of secret is also one of the decisive elements to understand the relationship between the two precedent concepts.
