Abstract

The use of doping in sport gathers many serious issues. Usually, it is assumed that the usage of prohibited drugs is anti-ethic, specially for the fact that using a non-natural resource to improve performance plays against the honesty of competition, and may even cause injuries to the player ’s own health. This essay has the objective to be a reflection on the arguments that support the traditional view, bringing about information and reasoning that may end up as ethical paradoxes.
