Abstract

This research has answered to the following problem: what is the players’ gesture language? understanding language as a social construction of signs that recovers thoughts/feelings, drives to objects and coordinates the actions. The objective was to take off the veil of significant forms in the player ’s gestural communication. Based on the existential phenomenological approach and in the semiotic methodology, it was made a gesture interpretation (postural, physiognomic and kinetics) beginning with the description of six games, considering three adult games (betting games) and three children games (for exercising purposes). The obtained result was that the player ’s gesture flow represents a poetical language of exciting emotional appealing, of rhythmic energetic investment and instinctive logical action.
