Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the occurrence of violence and bullying situations in physical education classes, as well as the feelings of students who experienced and / or suffered these situations in class. This research was developed with the interview of 55 students from a public school in the city of Cuiabá, MT, with ages between 10 and 14 years of the 5th and 6th grades (or 6th and 7th years). It was observed that the understanding of violence and bullying is linked to the experiences of their school life, family and community, and they define the fights, name calling, threats and coercion very naturally, as common situations of day-to-day. The feelings of the victims identified in this study were: attacks, sadness, grief, shame, anger and desire to leave.
